The Brief To design the visual identity and promotional campaign for the Herakleidon Museum’s Kids Summer Camp 2026 (ages 5-12). The goal was to create an interactive and highly engaging world that introduces children to the S.T.E.A.M. disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) through the exciting concept of global travel.
The Concept: A Passport to Knowledge The core idea revolves around the “STEAM Passport”. Each letter of the STEAM acronym is paired with a specific discipline, a continent, and a unique mascot serving as the children’s guide:

- S (Science) – Europe: Olivia, the wise owl.
- T (Technology) – Asia: Techu, the tech-savvy red panda.
- E (Engineering) – Africa: Ergo Tambo, the inventive elephant.
- A (Arts) – Latin America: Artou, the creative toucan.
- M (Mathematics) – Oceania: Numa, the explorer sea turtle.
Dual Style Approach To fulfill the diverse requirements of an omnichannel campaign, the characters and environments were developed in two distinct yet cohesive artistic styles:
- 3D Animation Style (Pixar-like): Vibrant, colorful, and expressive. This style was primarily used for digital touchpoints, social media content, and animated video teasers (using AI Video Generation). It brings the characters to life, instantly capturing the children’s imagination.
- Ink & Line-art Style: An organic, highly detailed approach reminiscent of classic children’s storybook illustrations. This style was perfectly applied to print materials (posters, web banners, and physical passport ‘cards’), providing an educational and slightly nostalgic aesthetic that appeals to both children and parents.

Five Weeks – Five Cultural Missions
The Camp is organized into five independent thematic units. Each week focuses on a different geographical and cultural region, giving children the opportunity to discover stories, traditions, techniques, rhythms, and flavors from every corner of the globe.

Week 1
15/06-19/06: “Stories, Rhythms, and Colors from Latin America”
(Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Costa Rica)

Week 2
22/06-26/06: “A Different Safari”
(Ghana, Morocco, Tanzania, Djibouti, Kenya, Somalia, Mozambique, South Africa)

The Outcome A comprehensive, multimedia campaign that seamlessly blends graphic design, illustration, and video animation, turning education into an unforgettable global adventure!
